Classification of bathroom faucets

1. Copper body: As for faucets, copper has long been the preferred material, mainly because the antibacterial effect of copper medium has been recognized and tested by authoritative laboratories. Most high-end bathroom brands use copper as the main body of their faucets, and the elimination of other materials has become an inevitable trend.
2. Electroplating: The quality of the electroplated surface is the most intuitive manifestation of the quality of the faucet. Surface electroplating mainly uses nickel and chromium to achieve a smooth and bright effect. Good quality faucets undergo numerous tests, such as salt spray testing, water testing, gas testing, etc., to ensure their durability. After high-precision electroplating, durability is the basic requirement for faucets, and more importantly, their surface glossiness is good and they feel comfortable to the touch. Some high-end faucets also have different surface treatment techniques, such as stainless steel surface and satin finish.
3. Filter screen: In areas where water quality is not superior, the installation of a filter screen can reduce and filter impurities, while preventing potential damage to the ceramic valve core caused by impurities. There are two installation positions for the filter: at the inlet and outlet.
4. Rotation angle: Being able to rotate 180 degrees makes work more convenient, while being able to rotate 360 degrees only makes sense for a sink placed in the center of a house.
5. Stretchable showerhead: increases the effective radius and offers more functional possibilities, allowing sinks and containers to be filled faster. To avoid making unpleasant noises, metal pipes should be avoided as much as possible.
6. Water pipe length: Experience has shown that a pipe of 50 centimeters is sufficient, and pipes of 70 centimeters or more can also be purchased on the market.
7. Anti calcification system: Calcium deposits can occur in both showerheads and automatic cleaning systems, and the same situation also occurs in faucets where silicon accumulates. The integrated air cleaner has an anti calcification system, which can also prevent the equipment from being calcified internally.
8. Anti backflow system: This system prevents dirty water from being sucked into the clean water pipe and is composed of layers of materials. Devices equipped with anti backflow systems will display the DVGM approval mark on the packaging surface.
9. Material: Stainless steel is hygienic and environmentally friendly. The equipment for chromium plating is easy to care for and harmless to humans, but additional elements need to be added during the manufacturing process. So it is necessary to pay attention to what materials the equipment is made of, not all countries have such high standards as Germany.
10. Durability: The anti calcification system can prevent the risk of water leakage and handle damage to the equipment.
